This informational policy describes how NorthEast News handles information in the current static workflow and reasonable future integrations.
Information you provide
If you submit a news tip, correction, contact message, sponsorship inquiry or newsletter signup, the information you choose to provide may be sent to the configured delivery provider for review or response. Do not submit passwords, financial credentials or information you are not authorized to share.
Newsletter and forms
Newsletter email addresses and form submissions are not stored in this GitHub repository. Until a delivery endpoint is configured, the site does not pretend to store or send them. Connected providers may have their own privacy policies and retention practices.
Advertising, cookies and external links
NorthEast News uses Google AdSense to display and measure advertising. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, local storage, IP addresses and device or browser information to deliver, personalize and measure ads, subject to consent where required. Learn more about how Google uses information from sites that use its services. External websites have their own privacy policies.
Retention, children and updates
Information is retained only as reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was submitted or as required by the configured provider. The site is not directed to children. This policy may be updated as the site and its services change.
